Thanks to the £40m redevelopment in Peterlee, East Durham College's Peterlee Campus in Willerby Grove is one of the most modern purpose-built teaching facilities in the region, which both students and staff are extremely proud of.

Located on the edge of bustling Durham City Centre, the College’s Houghall Campus has an excellent reputation for land based studies and we run many environmental and horticulture courses. The excellent facilities including a pinetum, arboretum, glasshouses, allotment and farm - all set amongst beautiful grounds and countryside. On top of that, our lecturers have a genuine passion for the land based studies.

For anyone wanting to get ahead in the world of construction The Technical Academy at East Durham College offers one of the region’s best training facilities. The 37,000 sq ft. training centre on Peterlee’s South West Industrial Estate is fast become the place to train if you want to make in it the trade.
