Entry Requirements No formal entry qualifications. Basic numerical and literacy skills at Entry 3 and enthusiasm for working with plants and animals.

How is the course taught? Practically based course to reach vocational competence in the ability to assist in Land-Based vocational areas.
How is the course assessed? Practical skills assessment and portfolio development.
Length Of Course One year
Progression / Career opportunities Employment in the land-based industry or progression onto more specialised courses in the learners preferred area e.g National Certificate NVQ Level 2.
