An ideal introductory course for those with little knowledge of the equine industry, and also for those wishing to move onto the internationally recognised equine qualification BHS Stage 1.
Entry Requirements Basic literacy and numeracy and a passion for horses
What areas are covered by the course? Health and safety, basic stable management, care of the horse, feeding and watering horses
How is the course taught? The course is 25 weeks at 2 hours each week, on one evening per week
How is the course assessed? Practical and small written topic tests
