This course covers the first chainsaw unit required by a chainsaw operator in the Arboriculture Industry. On completion of this course you will have gained the NPTC Certificate of Competence for Chainsaw maintenance and Crosscut (for use on wood already on the ground). This qualification is the first level of chainsaw units. This qualification is recognised by the Industry and is essential for employment.

Overview of the course: 

A practical course delivered over 2 days. During the length of the course will have gained the practical skills and knowledge to enable you to take a practical assessment the day after training has been completed.
