Beauty Therapy

Beauty courses at East Durham College have never looked so good! With brand new modern workrooms, equipment and a dedicated professional salon, open to the public, students are certain to benefit from being trained in a modern and highly professional environment.

Our beauty courses cover a vast range of techniques and theories, in order to be relevant to the needs of the modern beauty industry and employers. We offer a number of full time and part time courses, as well as work based learning and even a number of one day master classes for people already working in the industry.

Additional Learning Opportunities

Students can also benefit from a wide variety of additional learning opportunities, including diplomas in ear piercing and nail art, as well as an extensive programme of enrichment events, activities and competitions. The College holds an impressive success record at both regional and national competitions. Not only does this help profile new talents, but it also serves to enhance employability opportunities after studying.

The training and skill our students have gained has enabled them to pursue fulfilling careers in the beauty and related industries.
