East Durham College events coordinator and Durham Flower Festival Show Secretary, Dianne Howe, said: “This is an incredibly exciting event to be working on and we are so pleased to be again hosting a flower show for the region at our Houghall Campus.
“The feedback from exhibitors and the public following the 2014 show was so positive we decided we must do it again and try to grow the show to give the local region a large horticultural festival to add to their diaries for years to come.
