Prince's Trust Level 1 Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills (QCF) (May 2018)
The course is an excellent entry into college life and can lead onto further progression within the College to access a specific vocational area or employment.
The Prince's Trust Team Programme is a 12-week personal development course, offering work experience, qualifications, practical skills, community projects and a residential week.
You must not be in Education, Employment or Training.
The Prince's Trust Team is based at our Houghall Campus and during the 12-week programme, team members will:
• Learn the importance of teamwork
• Spend a week based at a residential activity centre
• Undertake special projects based in the local community
• Complete a work placement
• Participate in a team challenge involving caring for others and stage a team presentation
You will be assessed throughout the course.

More important information about this course:
If you have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and are under the age of 19 on the 31st August, you will not usually need to pay any course fees.
If you are aged 19+ years old you may be required to pay fees for your course, however if you are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance in the Work Related Activity Group or other work related benefit and you are undertaking this qualification to find work, your fees may be paid by the Government.
Learners under 25 years old with a statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan will not pay fees.
