You will need 5 A-C (9-4) grades at GCSE and a minimum of a grade C (5) in GCSE Maths
Applications of Statistics, Probability, Linear Programming and Sequences and Growth
The qualification is 100% exam based, and you would sit two papers in the summer of that academic year, or 2nd year if you choose to take mathematics in context over two years.
More important information about this course:
If you have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and are under the age of 19 on the 31st August, you will not usually need to pay any course fees.
If you are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance in the Work Related Activity Group or other work related benefit and you are undertaking this qualification to find work, your fees may be paid by the Government.

If you're a full time student under the age of 19 you will not usually need to pay any course fees.
If you are aged 19-23 years old you may be required to pay fees for your course, however if you do not already have a level 3 qualification, or you are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance in the Work Related Activity Group, your fees may be paid by the Government.
If you are aged 24 or over you can apply for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan to cover the cost of your course. We will send you a letter with details of how to apply once you have been interviewed and accepted on to the course.
