Anthony Knox has picked up the Student of the Month award for his work in Sport over the last month.

Anthony, 19, from Shotton, is now studying Level 3 Sport at the College after studying Bricklaying at the College’s Technical Academy last year.

But Anthony now has his eyes set on a future in Sport and hopes to go on to become a P.E Teacher in the future.

Sports lecturer Robert Clarkson has been impressed by Anthony’s approach and quality to his work and also his attitude and enthusiasm since joining the course.

Robert said: “Anthony has been fantastic since joining the course. His approach to work is excellent and he has completed all of his tasks to a very high standard and handed them in well before the hand in dates he has been set.

“And when this work is completed he never wastes time in class, as soon as one piece is handed in he is asking for the next piece of work.

“Everyone in the Sport department has been impressed with Anthony’s attitude and the quality of work he has produced. His enthusiasm towards his course and the subject has made Anthony a pleasure to teach.”
