Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross Cutting & Felling & Processing Trees up to 380mm College Certificate (formally CS30 & CS31) Combined Refresher
This course covers the most popular of chainsaw units and are the first two required by a chainsaw operator in the Arboriculture Industry. On completion of this course, you will have the NPTC Certificates of Competence for the maintenance and use of a chainsaw for wood already on the ground and also the certificate for felling small trees (less than 380mm in diameter). These qualifications are recognised by the Industry and are essential for employment.
A practical course - 2 days. Over the two days you will have gained the practical skills and knowledge to enable you take practical update your qualification to current industry standard.
You must already hold the Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross Cutting (formally CS30) Full Course & Level 2 Award in Felling & Processing Trees up to 380mm Full Course (formally CS31)
Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cut (002/3) and Fell and Process small trees < 380mm (004) - Refresh qualifications to current industry standard
Skills are assessed during the practical training by the course tutor
