East Durham College has hailed Saturday’s Open Day & Autumn Fayre as a massive success.

The event took place at the Peterlee Campus on Willerby Grove. It was held to enable as many people as possible in the region to have a look around the College’s fantastic facilities, find out about courses and have a great family day out.

There were loads of activities and demonstrations such as dog agility displays, face painting & airbrush tattoos, bouncy slide and tea cups ride, group drumming tuition, free make over’s and lots more.

Fred Harrison, Assistant Principal, said: “The event was an ideal opportunity for the local community to have a look around the College and get information and advice on courses - as well as having a fantastic family day out. We were delighted with the number of people who came along and the positive feedback from them about the event”.

Look out for East Durham Colleges next open day and fayre in May 2011.
