College Enrolment Set To Get Underway Ahead of New Academic Year
East Durham College’s annual enrolment events will get underway on Wednesday August 24th.
As school pupils across the region get ready to pick up their GCSE results we will be ready to welcome them to enrol on courses ahead of the new academic year starting in September.
Enrolment on courses at the Peterlee campus will get underway between Wednesday 24th August and Wednesday 31st August.
This means as soon as pupils have collected their GCSE results they will be able to come and enrol on a wide range of courses offered at the Peterlee campus, A-level courses at ED6 and construction and engineering based courses at The Technical Academy.
Enrolment on land-based courses at East Durham College’s newly redeveloped Houghall Campus, in Durham, will then take place between Thursday 1st September and Saturday 3rd September.
As well as students who have already applied for courses at East Durham College, student services staff will also be happy to welcome any new applications to courses across all sites throughout the period.
Carina Tomlinson, Assistant Principal for curriculum at East Durham College said: “This is an exciting time of the year both for school pupils getting set to receive their GCSE results and us here at East Durham College.
“We wish all our current applicants the very best of luck on results day and we look forward to meeting them during the enrolment period.
“And also if anyone is looking to join the college on any courses across our three campuses, our fantastic student services team and staff will be on hand to talk to you and give you any advice you may need.”
