East Durham College is happy to announce it will once again be offering a cash reward scheme to full time students.
All full-time students, aged 16-18, on or before 31st August, now have the opportunity to receive some amazing cash rewards whilst studying at one of East Durham College’s campuses.
The first reward offer is for students from households with an income of £25,000 or below. They can receive up to £360 for the academic year, paid at £10 per week, subject to attendance, excellent behaviour and assignment / homework completion.
The second reward offer is for students from households with an income of £25,001 or above. They can receive up to £100 for the academic year, getting paid £50 in February and £50 in July, subject to attendance, excellent behaviour and assignment / homework completion.
The benefits are also available to students aged 16 to 25 on that date if they have a statement of special educational needs.
These cash rewards are just a small part of a number of benefits available to students studying at East Durham College.
The college recently announced they will once again run the free bus partnership for all students with Arriva North East, giving students the opportunity to use Arriva buses across the region, allowing them to get to college and back home.
Students also have access to free gym, free parking, free print and free WiFi amongst many other benefits.
East Durham College principal, Suzanne Duncan, believes the cash rewards scheme is a great way to reward the hard work of the students throughout the year.
Suzanne said: “We are pleased to be able to offer our students this fantastic cash reward scheme.
“We want to be able to award our students’ hard work throughout the year and we feel that this is a great way to do it.
“We are sure all our students and potential students joining in September 2016 will continue to work really hard when the new academic year begins.”
