College Set To Welcome Part-Time Students

East Durham College’s Peterlee campus is to host two enrolment events for students looking to study on part-time courses.
The events at the Willerby Grove site will take place on Thursday 8th September from 5pm to 7pm and on Saturday 10th September from 10am to 1pm.
Potential students looking to study on part-time courses starting this month will have the chance to meet with course tutors and find out more about their new courses before securing their place.
The college have a wide range of part-time courses available including; accountancy, catering, maths and English, personal fitness training and photography amongst many others.
Carina Tomlinson, Assistant Principal for Curriculum, at East Durham College said: “We look forward to welcoming new students to the Peterlee campus to finalise their places ahead of the new academic year getting underway.
“These two events are a brilliant opportunity to meet the members of staff that will be teaching them on their courses and find out more about what their course will entail once it gets underway.
“Also if anyone hasn’t yet applied for a course at the college, our student services team will be on hand at both events to give any advice needed to help get you on the right course to get you on the career path of your choice.”
