Students achieving a full level 3 programme have the opportunity to apply for university entrance to study on a huge range of higher education courses such computer science, computer animation and computer programming.

The College is excited to launch the Academy as part of the college’s expanded IT offer and believes it offers a great opportunity for young people to pursue an exciting career in this in-demand area. Career opportunities for people with coding skills are really growing around the country and we want to get behind this and offer local students in the north east the chance to specialise in programming or networking.
Computer coding and networking is increasingly being taught in schools around the region and we want to give students the opportunity to be able to continue to progress those skills by coming and studying at the Academy.
We have highly-skilled lecturers, with industry experience, to teach the courses. And when you join either of these courses you will receive some great additional benefits.

We currently offer ELearning courses in many different subjects, including project and quality management, accounting and bookkeeping, IT and networking, digital marketing, coding and web development, desktop skills, health, safety and compliance as well as other subjects including finance, teaching and childcare, business systems and software and languages.
