All college buildings and facilities closed on Friday March 20th indefinitely, and will remain so until we are advised by the government we can open. However, our staff are busy working from home and many aspects of college life continue.

Studying & Teaching From Home

The college as moved to online teaching and assessment for the majority of courses. We can assure you that we will continue to support academic progress by setting work and continuing contact with our students. Student wellbeing is very high on our agenda; for this reason we will continue contact with students over the phone, Moodle and online facilities.

Exam & Assessment Update

The College are following guidance and working closely with the large number of exam boards and qualification providers we partner with. We will provide updates to individual student groups as details are confirmed.

Mental Health Support

For any students who are struggling with their mental health during these challenging times, we want you to know that the college is here to support you.

You can contact your Progression Coach, our College Counselling Team and our specialist Safeguarding Team and we will support you in anyway we can. You may be isolated but you are not alone, we are here to talk if you need us.

Free School Meals & Student Bursary

From Monday 23rd March, the college will make weekly payments (Including over the Easter fortnight) into students' bank accounts who quality for Free School Meals (FSMs). The government currently provides the college with £2.41/day for FSMs, so the college will pass that on for the days a student was due to be in college.

The college will also continue to make the £30/weekly Guaranteed 16-18 vulnerable bursary payment to students who qualify.
