The Durham Flower Festival are delighted to announce Agricultural Polymers International as the event’s lead sponsor of this year’s show.

In its second year, the 2015 Durham Flower Festival is set to be held on August Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday August 29th and Sunday August 30th at East Durham College’s Houghall Campus.

After productive talks between show secretary Dianne Howe and directors of Agricultural Polymers, the company were happy to back this year’s show as it continues to grow.

Agricultural Polymers International Ltd, Agripol, are the pioneers of water storing polymers in horticulture, and have proved the value of their top-quality range to customers for more than 30 years.

Dianne believes joining forces with a market leader such as Agricultural Polymers shows the great progression the Durham Flower Festival has made since its inaugural show last year.

Dianne said: “It’s great to have Agricultural Polymers on board with us as the lead sponsor of the show.

“It shows how far we have come after just one year and we believe this connection can really help push the festival to the next level.”

Paul Griffin, Agricultural Polymers International Ltd, managing director added: “We are very excited to be this year’s sponsor of the Durham Flower Festival.

“As a Durham-based family company, our range of water-storing soil improvement products have helped grow flowers, fruit and vegetables, as well as almost every other type of plant, across the world for more than 30 years.

“We work with everyone - from hobby gardeners to governments, councils to commercial growers - so this is an excellent opportunity for us to directly access the people who would most benefit from using our products while also support the establishment of this show within our local area.”
