Why Consider ED6?

There are many reasons to consider choosing ED6 as the place to study A-Levels. Most importantly:

  • We are the region's best-performing sixth form centre, with our students achieving 100% pass rate on their exams for the past 3 years (2016, 2017 and 2018)
  • We are the best college in the country for the progression students make from GCSE to A-Level
  • In 2018, 33% of our students gained A*-A Grades, 57% gained A*-B grades and 84% achieved A*-C grades
  • Small class sizes - we keep our classes smaller than other providers, ensuring that learners don't feel excluded and get direct tuition from our teaching staff

On top of this, ED6 students get all the benefits of East Durham College, including our modern Peterlee campus, on-site Starbucks and completely FREE travel to and from college thanks to Arriva buses.
