All ED6 applicants are invited to our Bridging Days on Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June. This is a great opportunity for you to visit subject teachers and departments to learn how best to prepare yourself for the new term in September.

All students are welcome at ED6, so even if you haven’t made an application with us but you are interested in finding out what life is like as a student in our Sixth Form, pop along and join us on the Bridging Days.

The days will be divided into sections so that you can have taster lessons in a number of different subjects of your choice, help make final subject decisions and understand more about what it will be like to study A-levels at East Durham Sixth Form. All lessons will be taught here at the Peterlee Campus on the Bridging Days.

Students will also pick up prep work and reading to be done over the summer break to ensure a prompt start to study in September.

We will also give you additional information about the Sixth Form and be available to answer any questions you may have.

Please report to reception at 8.55am for a prompt start in Bridging Lessons.

Lunch will be provided free of charge. Please dress informally.

Please let us know if you will be attending by emailing Wanda.Scott@eastdurham.ac.uk or call 0191 518 8222. We look forward to meeting you all.
