Overview of the course: 

Level 3 BTEC Manufacturing Diploma broadens and expands the specialist work-related focus from the Level 3 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma. The qualification helps to prepare students for employment in the appropriate vocational manufacturing sector and it is suitable for those who have decided that they wish to enter a particular area of work.

The BTEC Level 3 Manufacturing Engineering course comprises of 120 Credits @ Level 3
60 Credits of which have already been awarded via the Subsidiary Diploma.

How is the course assessed?: 

Units are assessed using assignments/written reports. Students are also required to give a 15 minute presentation discussing their chosen Project.

Fees for this course are: £5421.00

If you have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and are under the age of 19 on the 31st August, you will not usually need to pay any course fees.

If you are aged 19 or over on the day your main course starts you may be able to take out an Advanced Learning Loan to pay for this course.

Please note, this is the first year of the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering, fees are payable in year 1 and year 2.

There is a requirement to wear personal protective equipment for this course. The cost of equipment is currently £25. Students with limited income can claim up to 75% of these costs. Further information will be sent to you closer to enrolment in August if you are accepted on to the course.
