Exciting New RHS Courses On Offer To Help You Get Green Fingers

East Durham College’s Houghall Campus is set to run a new set of short courses for the new academic year, aimed to get your green fingers working. The four courses will cover a number of different areas in gardening including an amateur gardening course and a course on allotments.

The courses start as follows:

  • 10th September - RHS Horticulture Level 3 – 1pm-6pm
  • 11th September – RHS Horticulture Level 2 - 6:30pm-9pm
  • 12th September – Allotment Gardening – 10am-12pm
  • 17th September – Amateur Gardening – 10am-12pm

East Durham College short courses coordinator Julie Carmichael said: “These courses are aimed to get people out into their gardens and show them some new techniques on how to get the most from gardening.

“Led by expert horticulturist Mike Hirst, he will guide you through the topics in the courses to make sure you all leave with some great tips and techniques."
