East Durham College is launching an exciting new gardening club at its Houghall Campus in Durham.

The club, which is set to start after Easter on Wednesday April 10, will run the two hour sessions over ten weeks between 10am and 12pm.

The course will look at a number of different areas such as pruning, plant and vegetable propagation, container gardening, hanging baskets, soft fruit and top fruit.

The course is priced at £155 for the ten weeks which works out at just £15.50 a session but you will have to be quick as places are going fast.

Tutor Dave Scott can’t wait to get the course started and hopes people can come and learn some new skills.

Dave said: “We can’t wait to get started with the course here at Houghall.

“We are starting the course so people can come in have a fun few hours learning some new skills and techniques which they can take back to their own gardens.”
