Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Information and Assessment session 1.30pm-4.30pm.

There has never been a better time to consider an Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care. Young people can ‘get in and go far’ with an Apprenticeship at some of Britain’s biggest and brightest companies. You can gain the skills and knowledge you need to succeed, in some cases up to degree level, while working and earning.
East Durham College are holding a series of Apprenticeship Information/Initial Assessment sessions for school leavers during May half term.
Students can find out all they need to know about Apprenticeships, from how do you apply to progressing on to university via the Apprenticeship route.
During the sessions students will take an initial assessment in both maths and English, once completed, this will then enable us to get you Apprenticeship interviews much faster with local employers.
The dates for the sessions are as follows and are grouped by industry sectors:
Wednesday 1st June
9.00-12.00           Horticulture, Agriculture and Animal Care
1.30-4.30             Business and IT
Thursday 2nd June
9.00-12.00           Construction Trades
1.30-4.30             Engineering
Friday 3rd June
9.00-12.00           Hair and Beauty
1.30-4.30             Health and Social Care
