East Durham College’s Houghall Campus is gearing up once again to host its annual spring show.

The 2014 Houghall Spring Show is set to take place on Sunday 18th May with a whole host of fun family activities planned.

The day will include equine displays, dog agility and grooming demos, falconry and bird of prey displays, floristry demos, sheep shearing demos, a climbing wall, Punch & Judy shows, archery, trampolines and face painting.

Along with that a number of small and exotic animals will be on display including a visit from Timon, Nala & Bandit the real life meerkats.

Durham Constabulary will also be bringing their Dogwise event to the show, giving tips out to dog owners and also showing off some police dog demonstrations.

There will also be the return of the Houghall Classic Car Show which is expecting to attract over 100 cars including MGs, Jaguars, Minis and Lotus.

Potential students will also be able to come along and learn more about our specialist full time and part time courses at the Houghall Campus, as well as Apprenticeships.

East Durham College offers a wide range of land based courses in; Agriculture, Animal Care, Arboriculture & Forestry, Environmental Management, Equestrianism, Floristry, Horticulture and Amateur Gardening.
