NPTC Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Free-Fall Techniques (CS39)
Arboriculture. This course covers the skill and knowledge required to use a chainsaw from a rope and harness. On completion of the course you will have the NPTC Award in Aerial cutting of trees with a chainsaw, using free-fall techniques. This qualification is essential for employment in the industry.
A practical course - 3 days. Over the 3 days will will have gained the practical skills and knowledge to enable you to take a practical assessment. The assessment will be on the day following the completion of training.
CS30(002/3), CS31 (004) and CS38 must be held prior to training starting.
Learn how to operate a chainsaw from a Rope and Harness. To operate the chainsaw safely whilst off the ground, using a rope and harness.
External practical assessment by NPTC.
This is a practical 3 day course.
