Level 2 & Level 3 Counselling Courses Information Evening - 5pm-7pm
Wednesday, 26 June 2019
Are you interested in a career in counselling? Come along to our open evening on Wed 26th June and find out how EDC can make it happen!
We'll be hosting a dedicated open evening for our counselling courses on Wed 26th June at our Peterlee campus from 5:30 to 7PM, allowing you to come along, have a chat with our lecturers and learn more about our counselling courses.
The evening will take the form of a presentation by Paula Crosby, our highly experienced counselling lecturer, followed by a question and answer session.
It will give you an opportunity to view the building, meet staff and to find out whether training to be a counsellor or learning counselling skills is the right route for you.
If you're brand new to the industry, EDC offers the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills. After completing this route, you can then move on to the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma in Counselling Skills.
For those who complete the Level 2 and 3 routes, it's then possible to move on to the college's Foundation Degree in Counselling, which is offered in partnership with Sunderland University.
Counselling courses at East Durham College are part-time, and usually delivered on an evening.
