Level 2 Functional Skills English (Distance Learning)
Many employers and universities require their staff/students to hold qualifications in both maths and English at level 2.
This course is for people who cannot regularly attend college but would like to develop their English skills. The course requires you to work independently and to complete tutorials, either online or in person. You will be given access to online materials and resources to help you study at home.
Please note that this course is FREE of charge for those who do not already have a grade 4/C grade in mathematics (or equivalent). Attendees will be expected to attend college for examinations at the end of the course.
If you already have a grade C or above, there is a fee associated with this course of £714.
You do not need to hold any previous qualifications for this course, however you cannot study this programme if you already have a level 2 qualification in English. At enrolment you will be diagnostically assessed to see which level of Functional Skills it is most appropriate for you to start with.
