Sally Hudson, Vice Principal for Curriculum at the College, said: “These awards are one of my favourite events in the academic calendar. They are a very important celebration of excellence, achievement and endeavour by students from across the College.
“I really enjoy having these awards as it makes me really proud to see the work being done around the College and it’s brilliant to hear some of the stories behind the students that have been put forward for these awards.
“The awards are not always about academic excellence. It may be a combination of attendance, punctuality, supporting other students, succeeding against the odds or simply being the very best you can be.
“These students are just the tip of the iceberg with regards to the hard work and effort that is going on throughout the College. There have been a large number of students considered and nominated for these awards, so these winners should be very proud.”
