This figure tell you how much progress students (aged 16-18) who studied applied general qualifications at college made between the end of key stage 4 and the end of their applied general qualifications studies.

As parents/guardians of potential students of East Durham College, we would like to make you aware of the latest 16-18 performance data that has been published by the Department for Education (DfE) on their new schools and colleges compare performance website.

These results are published in January each year to allow school leavers and their parents/guardian(s) the opportunity to compare local providers. This allows you to make a more informed decision, based upon the latest performance data for the relevant colleges.

A Level Performance System (ALPS) for Value Added

East Durham College has seen some great results in our A Level Performance System (ALPS) for Value Added performance in 2015/16 which also include BTEC Level 3s.

This is an important measure as it compares the GCSE results a student has when they arrive at college with their A Level/BTEC Level 3 results when they leave. It measures the progress students made with us and if it was above, below or in line with their expected results based on their scores when they started at college.
