Level 3 Hospitality & Event Management
On completion of this course you will have developed and met skills gap requirements in the areas of hospitality and event management, enabling career progression with key organisations across the North East such as Seaham Hall, Beamish and Hotel Indigo as well as many others.
This new and exciting Level 3 programme offers learning opportunities that are fully integrated across the areas of Hospitality, Event Planning and Guest Welcome Sectors. You will build up the necessary skills and experience required to enter local, regional and national employment in this ever-expanding industry. The course places an emphasis on the exceptional guest experience and quality of service, essential to succeed in these areas of the business world.
• Minimum of 4 GCSE Grade 4/C including Maths & English
• L2 in Business, Travel, Tourism, Catering
Entry onto any course at East Durham College is subject to final approval from the Assistant Principal. Where relevant, the term ‘entry requirements’ also includes DBS checks, references, fitness to practice, etc.

The course is assessed through a series of assignment tasks including written, tasks, group assessments, practical assessments and role-play situations.
